Mena Alexandra suvari, born on 13 February 1979, in America is an actor as well as a fashion designer and model. Her modeling career began in 1990. She soon shifted into acting following guest appearances on television series such as Boy Meets World or High Incident. She had her first film performance in 1997's drama Nowhere. With American Beauty and American Pie the actress gained more recognition in her roles. She was in the film industry for a year, and was in American Pie alongside American Pie co star Jason Biggs. In 2001, she took on the main role on the film Sugar & Spice (2000). She had appearances in the 2002 acclaimed independent drama Spun as well as the 2004 action feature Trauma. Her other appearances include HBO's comedy Six Feet Under. In 2008, Suvari was cast in several movies like Day of the Dead The Mysteries of Pittsburgh and as in the adaptation to The Garden of Eden. Suvari has been featured on fashion blogs and in various magazines like Vogue and Lancome Paris Adaptive print ads. She has supported and been an advocate of the African Medical and Research Foundation for many years.
